A homunculus, a copy of Baldinar’s most beloved, shaped from a fragment of his soul. When Cindy found out who she really was, she wasn’t that shocked. She knew that she and Kyle were not ordinary existences. In their sibling-like relationship, it didn’t seem like such a stretch that Kyle and Cindy originated from the same soul. Love him or hate him, Kyle was always with Cindy.

But Kyle disappeared. Cindy wasn’t bothered by that fact. Whether he was around or not, she was always worried. The singular worry on her mind was the fact that Kyle’s soul was broken and fading. She refused to believe that he couldn’t be healed. Couldn’t a wounded soul be mended by using the same soul? It was a dangerous idea, but once it sprouted, it could not leave her head. Despite everyone’s attempts to dissuade her, she became even more certain. This was her and Kyle’s one and only hope.
