Completely alone, with no one by her side, she faced death in utter isolation and underwent an intensely vivid near-death experience. Within a mirage of flames, she saw a hellish scene where human-shaped figures were screaming as they burned away into nothing. And at the far edge of the wavering fire stood the image of the paradise she had long yearned for. At the boundary between life and death, reality itself seemed like a mirage, and before her eyes an oasis appeared as if by a lie. Taking this vision at death’s door as a revelation from the Goddess, she began secretly purging apostates with fire.

However, the Order of Holy Knights of the Kingdom of Roose could not tolerate her aberrant behavior, and Lime herself was brought before a heresy trial. She continuously insisted that she had received a divine revelation, but her claims were rejected, and thus, the path to catastrophe began.
