However, each time, her efforts were thwarted by higher-ups who shut down the investigation. When she attempted to continue the investigation on her own, she was reassigned to a different department, effectively ending her pursuit. Frustrated by the organization’s refusal to support her, Mayden decided to resign.

Feeling discontent in her professional life, Mayden isolated herself in her room, spending her time playing video games. Lacking fulfillment in her work as an investigator, she became increasingly obsessed with gaming. The gaming community rejoiced as she broke record after record. One day, while she was relaxing, a new challenger appeared. Upon seeing her opponent’s latest score, Mayden realized it was rigged. Munin, the hacker she had once pursued, had returned to taunt her.
