As the war reaches the Eryuell Island located at the Southern ends of Bermesiah, the special Sentinel has been called to arms in response. Countless young elves have stepped forward to be a part of the Sentinel and guard the island. Lire and Myrielle were part of the young elves who stepped forward to guard the island. However, not everyone could become a part of the Sentinel just because they willed it. Since Eryuell was an island, being late on news meant that they could fail to respond to danger and become isolated. Sentinels must have high mobility as rangers. Only those who could nearly fly with the blessing of the wind could become a part of the Sentinel. Only Myrielle was able to pass that test.

Myrielle promised Lire that she would bear Lire’s weight in protecting Eryuell. Myrielle was confident in her ability, but her overconfidence led her to forget her duties to report the news as a ranger and instead found herself surrounded by demons. If Lire failed to deliver the news of Myrielle, she would have perished. Instead of thanking her, Myrielle delivered words of congratulations to Lire. Lire’s legs were imbued with the blessing of the winds. A new Wind Walker was born on Eryuell Island.
